2012 International Sweet Wine Challenge The Sweet Wine Challenge is conducted each year by the Riverina Winemakers Association and is open to any non-fortified sweet wine. To be eligible for the Challenge a sweet wine must be commercially available in the country of origin, and hold a minimum stock of 50 case lots (12 x 750 ml or equivalent) at the time of entry. There is also a museum class for wines that are not commercially available. Ben Edwards (The Wine Guide) will be Chief Judge and will be assisted by Jeremy Dineen from Joseph Chromy (Tasmania). The 2012 International Sweet Wine Challenge will be judged in Griffith on 6 September 2012 and results announced on 8 September.
